1-on-1 Planning Engagement
Many families who choose the 1-on-1 planning engagement have had or currently have advisors. You may have a financial advisor, an insurance agent, an investment professional, a CPA or even an attorney; however, you have no coordination between these advisors—meaning they don’t talk to each other. The other issue for most families is these advisors do not have a special needs expertise and do not have an intimate understanding of the 4 stages of your child’s life, and how to plan properly for each stage. They simply don’t know the landscape, and therefore do not know the proper vehicles to use in order that your family can safely navigate this unique special needs planning terrain.
Our Philosophy at A Special Needs Plan is Comprehensive Coordination™. Your right hand must know what the left hand is doing so that no stone is left unturned, no seemingly small details are overlooked, in order for your life and your loved one’s life to turn out the way you envision.
Most families we work with are currently structured like the diagram below. You are getting information and recommendations from all these sources, and then it is up to you to determine how it all fits together, and impacts your family. This structure can be quite overwhelming & frustrating.
By working with families in a 1-on-1 engagement we are able to change this structure by guiding you through The L.I.F.E. Planning Process, and ensuring that all the pieces of your strategy are seamlessly coordinated together. In that way, you and your family now have a guide and a resource to assist you every step of the way to secure the vision you have for everyone in your family, especially your special needs loved one! We will transform the above structure into the following:
In this way, you now have all the necessary pieces linked together and working seemlessly. We will continue to manage this structure for the benefit of your family and your special needs loved one.
